No Sound

I just received my JD robot, as I started using it, I noticed it had no sound. I tried both of the preloaded programs, JD goes through all the movements but no sound. On the third try the song started playing half way through then was cut short when the EZB4 fell off during the dance moves....It seems very loose at all times...seems like just that tiny pin is securing it. I tried dowloading an mp3 but it wont play either. As a last resort I did a reset an expected to hear the audio message but nothing played. Not sure what the next options are before returning the item.

Thanks

You can take a screwdriver and carefully open the ezb and see if the speaker in the base is making complete contact with the two springs... This is the usual reason for no sound out of the ezb....

Richard,

Thank you for the input. I believe that is the issue. If i gently push on the pins which is forcing the speaker to make contact i get some sound but it cuts in and out....definately an issue. I made arrangements to have it returned and the store is sending me a new unit.

Thanks again, I appreciate the help

.... or you can gently pull on the springs to expand them so they make solid contact... This way you don't have to go through the hassel of returning it....
