Maybe Someone Could Offer Help With My Script

Here is a miserable script, but maybe someone could offer suggestions. I am trying to work on the basic logic. Once I get that done, I can fill in the rest of the code. This script is failing, however.

I've loaded and does not work, ie nothing appears only connection to panel ez-b.

I just loaded it onto my computer and it works fine. All I did was double click it. It asked me if I wanted to open with ARC and I clicked yes and it opened just fine. Don't know what the problem is. sorry. :-(
