How To Use The Ez-B V4 In A Multirotor?

Hi! I'm Sumit from India and I wanted to ask you about how to use the EZ-B v4(the DIY Kit) to build a octorotor(multirotor) aircraft. I have built most of it but then I saw your product and thought why not make it better! My question is how will I connect the EZ-B v4 to the ESC that leads to the motor and use it? How can I set it up to control the octorotor so that it follows my commands? I also wanted to you to suggest me another camera compatible to the device because the camera in the kit does not support HD?

Please confirm if the DIY Developers Kit can be delivered to me in India in the month(s) of June and July.

Thanking You, Sumit Agrawal

Any camera Windows can see can be used with ARC. There are a whole range of HD cameras which you could use, to list all which would work would take forever.

Developer kits begun shipping last month with Revolution robots beginning shipping next month. There is likely to be a large amount of orders waiting for dispatch once the revolution robots are ready and orders are sent in a first come first served basis. Only EZ-Robots would be able to tell you if an order placed now would ship by July or not.

To connect to the ESC will depend on the ESC as there are many different makes and models. Can you provide details on the ESC you are planning to use? Having said that, in order for a multirotor to fly well it does require quick control of motors, you may find that the EZ-B cannot read the status of any gyros fitted and update the motors fast enough for accurate/stable control. Scripts would probably be required to take the information from any gyro and use it to alter the speed of the individual motors.

Have a browse through the Learn section of the website and search the forums for more information. There have been some topics discussing flying robots and control of ESCs which may help you out a little.
