- How can I localize ARC, for example, in Russian, or in Chinese? I found the Locales/ru.pak, but how do I enable it?
- How can I localize video lessons? Are there any subtitle files and audio tracks in other languages? If they are not available, can I create them and add them? Thank you, Valery

To translate videos, YouTube has a subtitle generator that you can use. Simply press the CC button and select your language in the videos. That’s a service provided by YouTube, if available in your country.

That folder is a component of a library used in ARC. Programming is in English, so ARC is built as a programming interface. There is not very much that can be changed in ARC for language locale, because it’s mostly programming terms that don’t always have direct translation - as you can see. This same scenario applies to all programming interfaces.
The good news is the manual and activities can be translated using the links above. We are looking into an option sometime in the future to have the manuals translated on the website wirh an option.
Thank you. But we wanted to use the EZ-Robot platform for children at school. And they want to have an interface in their native language. However, the programming language (script) of course remains English. It is desirable in the video lessons also to have an audio track and subtitles in the native language. Translation of subtitles with the help of Google translator, unfortunately, has very low quality for children. Thanks.

If you mean ARC, then many applications do so. All items in the main menu, pop-up menus, pop-up hints, window headers, drop-down lists, selection items, selection lists, and so on. are stored in a separate text file for each language. And, if necessary, the user can edit these files in any text editor. And when installing the program or after installation in the main menu there should be an option for selecting the interface language. I thought that maybe this data in ARC is stored in * .pak files ... I'm a programmer and I know that when you write a program it's very easy ... You find out from the developers of ARC - perhaps this possibility already exists ... Most likely in ARC, the language should be selected when installing the program. Language files already exist in the Locales folder. Maybe they just did not include the language selection option. If this is not the case, then I do not understand why all the language files in the Locales folder are needed. Thank you.

He already explained that these locale files are part of a 3rd party library used by ARC, not part of the main application.

Can you please provide a screenshot of where you'd like to see language changes? As for selection options, they're components of the project and would need to match the language through serialization of their parent classes into the project file.

That looks like a very easy protocol to implement into a plugin. Something similar to the way the Dynamixel or UBTech plugin works would be easy to do.
The only thing i don't see in that document is the baud rate and protocol bit specifications. Is it 8-N-1? 9600 baud?
Does that protocol communicate directly with the servo or is there a controller in the middle? Im unsure after google searching, as this is not a popular servo and there isn't much information about it.
Would you be connecting the servo directly to the EZ-B and sending those commands to the servos? Are the servos chain-able like dynamixel?

Yes, there is really little information on these servos. But they are installed on our robots that are controlled by their system. I wanted to understand if it's possible to control our robots using EZ-B. Thank you very much for the information, I will try to use it.
