Hi Lars. Welcome! Follow the links below to see a lot of robots that this community has already built.

As far as a "vintage" robot, I'm building a full sized B9 robot from the 1960's TV show List In Space. You can see my project here: synthiam.com/Community/Questions/2263

Look through them and you will soon get an idea of your own. There area a ton of good ideas there. Copy something, combine ideas from different projects or just get inspired and design one of your own. You can start small with just a cardboard box and plastic or go big right away and build a big complex robot. It's your robot, have fun!

@Dave....thanks!:)....@Lars no problem, misunderstandings/misreadings happen a fair bit and clarification is important!:) Daves B-9 is my favorite Robot having grown up in that area as well as all the Star Wars droids R2, C3PO's etc....:)

errrr that would be "era" blush , when rocks were soft etc, not "area", just after saying misunderstandings etc happen a fair bit....Good eye @dave Some wise person told me...proof read, proof read, proof read! :)

and looking forward Dave, to your new vids!

@irobot58, You grew up in what area? The plaint that the Robenson's were marooned on? ;) (Reread your post) :)

Thanks for the kind words. I just got done with the Microphone install. See my other post (soon to come later today) with pics and a video of it working.
