Hello!
I am currently working on the EZ-Bv3 developer kit. I have paired the EZ-Bv3 bluetooth robot controller circuitboard with my laptops Bluetooth transceiver. I have downloaded the ARC software and have tried several times as to how to have the ARC software communicate with my EZ-Bv3 bluetooth robot controller circuitboard. I have added a servo onto my circuit board connected in the Digital Port section of it and have added this servo in the Software under Add Control but the software will not communicate with my board to move the servo the degrees I entered for it in the ARC. Could you advice me as to what steps I am missing right after my EZ-Bv3 connects with my laptops bluetooth and opening the ARC?
I really appreciate your response.
Thank you for your time!
You didn't say that you told the ARC software to connect to the board. In the connection object, under board 0, click where there is currently an IP address, and it will show a drop down of your com ports. One of those will be the EZ-B. (EZ-B usually installs 2 com ports when you pair, and it tends to be the second one that works, but that varies from pc to pc for no k own reason).

Here is a link to all information regarding the discontinued ezb v3: https://synthiam.com/Tutorials/EZ-Bv3.aspx
explore that link for relevant information regarding connecting to the ezb v3.
Additionally, if you receive errors attempting to connect, ensure you have the latest firmware. Again, the information is in that link
Thank you @thetechguru and @dj-sures for your response.
I have tried what you suggested and I have attached screen shots below regarding the results:
I connected to EZBV3 through Bluetooth connection. Using ARC software, my PC gave three available COM ports. The screen shot is below. I clicked on the connection object to connect using Board 0 with all the COM ports to see what would work, but unfortunately none worked.
Tried to connect using Board 0 and COM1 (screenshot below), it would not connect.
Tried to connect using Board 0 and COM3 (screenshot below), it would not connect.
Tried to connect using Board 0 and COM 4 (screenshot below), it would not connect.
I wanted to ask you if I am missing a step or why is this occurring. I have tried the steps mentioned above with two different computers with their own Bluetooth transceiver and their own ARC software and the problem is the same. I have looked online and at the manual but can not find the answer for this.
I really appreciate your time and feedback.
Thank you!

You may need to update the firmware on the v3 - here's the video but keep in mind that lots has changed since the v3 has been discontinued. It will work though
Thank you so much @dj-sures it did work with your suggestion. Thanks again!
Great to hear! You may wish to upgrade the ezb to the latest version, as the v3 is discontinued and there is minimal software support for it. There is a buy back program to make the upgrade easier on the pocket book.
