Ez-B And Motherboard Power

Quick question, can the ez-b be used to power up a mother board from the 2 power pins on mobo?

So when ez-b powers up, it also turns on power to mobo for boot up?

if possible great one less switch, if not oh well:)

Thanks, emac Model M143 Project

You can't power the PC directly from the EZB but you could use the same power source for both. Check the projects as there are details on how others have done this on some of their pages.

no no im using a micro inverter for pure sine wave for ezb power and mobo power supply (and cause it got some usb charge plugs helps me out).... im talking actual on off switch... see i have a ground lead switch and when i flip it ezb turns on, and gives power too mobo, but my mobo also need a flip of the switch to boot up.... thought could save a switch spot for something else if when ez-b powered up, if there is a way for it to send ON signal to mobo power switch 2 pin via ezb...

It can be controlled via a port on ezb but need one that goes on at power on of ezb...

ahh forget it, its a waste of ports anyhow and just use a jumper and hotwire the mobo always ON, since if its not ON it will have ground off anyhow...

well now i gotta see how fast he goes and make him slower... im thinking he too powerful.... (pleeeease dddonntt hhhurrt mee) sorry tropic thunder quote
