Hi I'm putting iR LEDs on my bot that come on in low light , I've read on the internet that you can remove a ir filter in most Digital cameras and makes them much more sensitive to the Ir lights. Any help?
yes this is true. I'm not sure about the wireless cam but i've taken apart lots of webcams. Theydo have IR filters, its a small piece of thin glass that is placed right behind the lens on the cam. if you are careful you can remove that filter but watch out not to damage the lens. You can also replace that filter with a small piece of old photo negatives/film to strengthen the IR sensitivity but that will darken the overall image of the camera.
