We should add that there is most likely no reason to upgrade the firmware - as the EZ-B v4's ship with the latest firmware for the past several years.

Thanks. I was there and could find nothing about having the EZB attached to the computer with USB and doing a firmware upgrade. Like I mentioned above they refer the user back here to Synthia to download the latest ARC software. I'll just be content and trust that I have the latest firmware installed.
