Dollar Sign When Using Blockly

Is it ok to have the dollar sign when programming on Blocky as I am copying the exact code and it is not running though?

I'm not sure what code you're referring to, but Blockly can either use $ or none. That differs in the type of variable. You can read about it in the variable section on the Blockly page here: https://synthiam.com/Support/Programming/block-coding/Blockly
