Where did you purchase the EZ-B v4?

Please follow these instructions on your mobile device:

  1. Connect to the WIFI of the EZ-B v4 using mobile device

  2. Open browser and view the address http://192.168.1.1

  3. When the EZ-B v4 Wifi Robot Controller page opens. Look on the LEFT Navigation where it reads Main Page, WiFi AP Mode, WiFi Client Mode, Diagnostics. Look under the diagnostics button and tell me if there is a version displayed.

Actually I am using my hp laptop, not a smart phone or tablet. This reply is sent from my tablet though. There is no version displayed....... With the last update though, I can connect to my ezb v4 but I can't see anything with the camera. Thanks for your help so far.

Interesting - there was no change to the connection in the last update. Have you disabled virus scanner or Norton Internet security? That seems to cause issues with anything that isn't a webpage.

As for the camera. Please answer these questions

  1. is there a blue light on the camera?

  2. does the blue light flicker very rapidly or is it steady on? Sometimes it's best to check for the flicker in a dark room

  3. is there an error message when you push the connection button on the camera control?
