Can I Change The Default Directory That ARC Defaults To?

I'd like to use a different default directory for saving my files and getting the examples. Is there anywhere I can change that?

Thanks

I don't think you can change the default, but you can save in any directory on your computer, just need to navigate to it each time.

Alan:

For some reason I cannot navigate within the open file pane. Really frustrating.

Thanks,

The file dialog is a bit unusual. Either press the back button or double click on the two dots .. to move up a directory. From there you can keep navigating up to the root and back down other directories. If you have multiple drives you can choose the drive on the bottom left of the window by clicking the little arrow next to the C:

Thanks, I did not see the little C: at the bottom, and by clicking the two dots, nothing was happening.

I now can navigate as desired.

Thanks!

Hello yes you can change the folder its in I run it in 5 different folders Just go to the folder its in and copy it over to another folder When you install a new version it will go to the normal folder and the copy will not be changed But you will need to redirect your shortcuts as needed
