Broken Transistor

My name is Robert McGreevy and I'm a teacher at a small high school in upstate New York I bought one of the easy be V3 robotic kits and we've been using it now for a year and somehow one of the transistors got broken off and it's the VR 2 can it be repaired and what is number on the transistor that i will need and where can it get it.

Oh and by the way thank you very much for this board I think it is fantastic I love it, my students and I are in the process of saving and raising money in order to buy one or two more these circuits boards they are so easy to work with and most importantly they're very easy to teach with so thank you.

VR2 is a voltage regulator. Part number is MIC29300 5.0 WT

You should be able to get one from any decent stockist of electronic components. I don't know US based ones too well since I'm in the UK but mouser.com or somewhere like that should be a good start (someone else will no doubt say where else sells them)

Edit: Mouser.com link

Radio Shack sells 5V regulators. All the stores that I have been to in the Boston area keep them in stock.
