Another Question Related To Controlling U Command Wall-E

Hi,

If I buy the USB UIRT device for controlling U command WALL-E, could I use another Thinkway remote control (same brand) for the Infrared codes? I was thinking that it would be the same type of codes for the UIRT device. Should it work or not? I am kind of panicking about this do to the fact that there's not really any other way to control it! Is there another way to find out what the codes are for this product without the remote? I really want to be able to use it, but I don't know what to do...is it possible to use a different WALL-E remote of the same brand and both being Infrared? I have an Ultimate WALL-E remote control. There both IR, so could this work and be somewhat compatible? thanks. thanks for all your support : )

Please try to keep all related posts in one topic, this is the third or fourth you have started on the same subject when they could all have been combined in to the same topic.

You will need the correct controller for the Wall-E in order to get the correct IR codes regardless of what device you will eventually use to replicate the official controller. To put it in some perspective, what you are asking is similar to "would my TV remote control work on my DVD player?"

You either need to find the codes or find a remote, without one or the other it would be a case of guessing the codes and when a typical IR code looks something like;

0000 006D 0022 0002 0157 00AC 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0689 0157 0056 0015 0E94

I'm sure you can see the issue with attempting to guess the code.
