hi
is it possible to use 3 rgb animator in one projeckt.? also i would like to know how can i find the adres for the rgb.?
thank you
i found the adresses for 12c.its from 0x02 to 0x120
problem when i put in 0x02 and save it.it doesn stay saved.
Hi Nomad,
I just confirmed with 3 different RGB eyes that the I2C address does save when you change it. You are likely encountering a mistake I made when I was first trying multiple RGB Eyes, when exiting the Settings window you must press the "Save" button, if you exit out of the window with the "X" in the upper right the I2C address will not save.
hi jeremie
i did puch the save button.what am trying to do is use robi eyes whit rgb, connector.i read they are 3.3 volts .the eyes of robi has 6 black wires. but no info on boards.so i made a cable for rgb conector and try to lid , up the eye,it hard to see ,so low is the color, aldo its 3.3 volt. when i normal connect to white pin ezb ptp version, the eye lid up good. but then i have chort on ports.
so the adres 0x02 is correct ?next adres is then 0x03 ?
thank you
Oh sorry @Nomad If you are trying to use the RGB animator with another third party product it will not work, it has to be the EZ-Robot RGB eyes.
ah thats bummer.are these adresses correct ?
so the adres 0x02 is correct ?next adres is then 0x03 ?
The default address is 0xA0, and I believe there is an issue with odd addresses so the next one would be 0xA2.
ah many thanks for your help.is there another way to ad the eyes and mouth. they are ,i gess tri colored red/blue/green.
does the neon pixel bit works on rgb connektor ?
neon pixel bit
Yes single RGB LEDs could work for each eye and a mouth if you have a tight form factor inside your robot's head, that's good idea.
i was just reading.does the bit have multiple colors?for the mout i have enouch, white ports.its the eyes .
so adres rgb is 0xA2 so next is 0xA3 ?
The blaster bit has all the colors of the Rainbow.
If you wanted to use 3 sets of EZ-Robot RGB Eyes, you could use 0xA0, 0xA2, 0xA4, etc
jeremie
you teached me alot.thanks
