Is there any way to know if the ezB Controller is speaking so I can stop recognition while it is speaking? Thanks

The speech recognition module stops listening while speaking.
If you are using an mp3 trigger, there is an option to disable the speech recognition for X milliseconds. The EZ-Script manual explains the command syntax
