I don't know if this is meant to be in Feature Requests. Probably not, because that is for requests on ARC. However, I want to discuss other video formats on the Synthiam website. I know I have brought this up in previous posts. However, I wanted to have a centralized discussion about this. It could be beneficial for other content formats to be accepted other than YouTube. There could already be a feature like this on its way.
Synthiam only supports images as uploaded media. Due to the complexities of running a media hosting service, such as YouTube, it does not align with Synthiam's development efforts. Synthiam is a software company that creates a robot software platform, and unfortunately, for your request, we are not a media hosting provider. Instead, we can embed rich media content, such as YouTube videos, into community forum posts.
YouTube is a free service that allows videos to be posted unlisted, so they are only visible by the URL. If you do not want videos accessible to others through your account, you can unlist a video and still post it on the synthiam forum.
Okay, now I understand.
haha ya i think the summary of that answer is "we focus our time on making robot software"
