I am building a humanoid robot and printing parts of different humanoid parts. I am planning on putting a micro computer in the body with a 2 TB SSD.
I believe people with disabilities needs this especially people with mental disabilities like myself who is a high functioning autistic.
I am terrible at programming and will love to get started with the conversation aspect while I build the head and other parts. I am looking through skills now and will pay for pro.
I would love for her to recognize people and objects and remember things for example my favorite superhero or details I share.
hi rmcmurrer
nice to meet you .its the first time i see you here on the forum aldo your a member from 2016 . dont worry about mental problems .billions have them include myself . its what your making , and present is what counts . i am also not good in programming . you will get help for sure . i do what i can and go slow . about donations , there are people who where helped with a , part they needed . i will donate some to . but for a hole robot to gather money will be tricky . i hope you sucseed . you can leave a link in your video's for facebook and use a paypal link , these are easy in use for donations . first i would ask about you printer settings . can you post a , video about your printer ? am seeing some stuff that can be made better .for excample , your bowden tube seems very long . and mention problems you have with printing . there are great guy's here who can print like pro's . what kind of pc are you using ? i see you are using all kinds off color filaments . here's a tip . use one color , that is way , easier to learn .avery color has its own pro's and cons .
Looks like you are making great progress on your robot so far, Nice work.
If only there was a robotics platform that allowed you to control serrvo's, read sensors, add speech, object recognition and provide other AI capabilities without knowing how to program.
hi ninck
am just gessing ARC ?
Welcome! I'm so glad you found us and are reaching out and sharing your work. You're doing great! I have two grandsons that are challenged as high level functioning autistics. I understand where you are coming from and think working on a project like this is a wonderful way to showcase your inherent skills. Please keep us updated.
I think Nink was just being silly with this comment:
Synthiam's ARC software is surly a Robotics program that can do all he is describing. LOL. ARC can do all this and more.
