Ping Distance Sensor

Hello, i am having trouble with the ping sensor. it keeps detecting thing right in front of it when their is sooo much room. im trying to get the ping radar going so it can avoid object but its seeing something right in front of it at all times and just keeps turning.

You may want to use the radar with the ping sensor to visual see what and where its detecting objects. If it wired up right you may have a bad sensor. The radar give you a nice feel where it is detecting an object.

That's what i thought too, but i have 2 ping sensors and both are doing the same thing. the radar is whats showing me there is something in front of it. i checked and double checked the wiring on the ping sensor and it seems to be correct.

What are the values you get back from the sensor? Are they change?
