Motor Controllers

I am working on two robot projects that I will be integrating my EZ B 4/2 into. I have a question that I hope someone can answer or point me in the right direction. Please forgive me if this question is redundant. I am a noob.

I am looking at using one of the following to interface with my robot's drive motors with the EZ B. The first one is a smart brush motor driver that supports dual channels, 10A continuous current for each channel. The second is an H-Bridge with some added features.

  • Cytron SmartDriveDuo Smart Dual Channel 10A Motor Driver or
  • 12V 24V 12A Dual Channel DC Motor Drive Module H Bridge PWM Input

My question is which of the two would be the most efficient and easiest to use / configure with the EZ-B? I own a couple of each. I have used the Cytron SmartDriveDuo in building RC robots but have not integrated one as of yet with an EZ-B. I have not used an H-Bridge before but had picked a couple up because they are so inexpensive.
