Welcome to the community. I am not sure if I understand your question correctly, but you can download the software at any time. Go to the "Download" page, and about half way down on the left click on "download" for ARC. You will not be able to do much without the hardware but you will be able to familiarize yourself with the program. It goes without saying that you should watch the tutorial videos, but once you have the program open there are question marks that you can click on which will bring you right to the specific tutorial on the website to help you. There are also example projects that you can load to see how others have set up projects. I hope that answers your question.

Thanks I have the software and was playing with it. Kinda figured I need the hardware to proceed. As you see I am anxious. ;)
