Bluetooth Module

Problem: The bluetooth module no longer turns on, so no LED indicator light response when power is enabled to EZ-B.

The fuse blow shortly before this problem was presented, the fuse was replaced and only the board power light is reponsive, flashes when power connected.

I do believe it is the small re-routing board that is between the bluetooth module and the connector on the board. There is a 4.95V on the V+ pin on the EZ-B and when I connect the module no power is transfered to the module, however if I supply 5V directly to the module not the rerouting pcb then the module turns on.

SUCKS..sorry man....were you using a battery or wall charger....just curious.....

when i use a 7.2 v battery the ezb is fine..... when i use the wall power supply(purchased here) the heat panels get crazy hot....not sure if this is related.

I was using a 7.2 LiPo, I think there might have been a problem with the PCB before though cause sometimes I had to reconnect the battery for the module to turn on, didn't always turn on. However I can unsolder the pcb and run my own wires if I wanted to or just buy a Xbee module either way once I try it Ill test to make sure the EZ-B has all its functions.

Welp removing the PCB did it and the bluetooth module works again however I think I'll upgrade for more range, DJ do you still recommend the TLG10UA03 looking for something below $50 ?
