Dj's Als Ice Bucket Challenge

I have been nominated quite a few times by community members, friends and family to enter the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS. I encourage anyone to make a donation to any charity that affects a loved one or neighbor. It doesn't need to be ALS specific.

I'd love to see EZ-Robot Community Members also participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge :)

Way To Go DJ!

@Rich- What?!? No buff shots? You are such a tease.;)

Not done to tease, there is method behind my madness... cold water doesn't stick to skin as much as it sticks to clothing.

Be aware this may cause permanent mental damage... Enjoy...

To explain, my sister in law who nominated me wore a wetsuit when she did hers hence the complaint at the start. Also the ice pops were used because I had very little ice, they were removed and put back in the freezer once the water was nice and cold:)

Has nobody else done it yet?..

Shrinkage, personally my little robot may not be able to afford it.

Robotics could be the future for those of us living with ALS. I have big plans my Roli! I have had ALS for 13+ years. I had never heard of it until June 11th, 2001. The prognosis was, "there is no cure and there is no treatment. The average lifespan is 2-5 years." I was devastated. At first, all I could think about was dying. After a period of mourning, I began to live with ALS instead of dying from it. To say that it has changed my life would be an enormous understatement. I wish that everyone could experience life through ALS without having ALS. The world would be a much better place. The Ice Bucket Challenge is a social media phenomenon. I have never seen anything like it. It just might change the future for those that will be forced to deal with the monster in years to come. Thanks to everyone that has participated and donated to help rid the earth of this scourge of society. ALS is just one of thousands of debilitating diseases that could benefit from this kind of exposure. Thanks again!

God Bless @stelmobarry, Keep up the fight and acceptance. My heart go out to you and others living through this cruel disease. Just last year I lost a long time co-worker I looked up to and respected to ALS. His whole experience was hard to wrap my mind around. tired

ok ok in DJ's defense a cold water shock to the nerves system does tend to cause the vocal cords to tighten up causing to pitch to go up. Most men no matter how deep there voice is will have a higher pitched scream when doused in ICE COLD water. lol

I didn't scream, I trumpeted like an elephant:D

We need to see more, I can't believe only DJ and myself have done this!
