:(Not Totally Sure But I May H

:(Not totally sure but I may have burned out the first i2c port 1 below the camera port, I accidentally touched the first pin there with the negative wire from a digital port in the bottom left corner and there was a burn smell I quickly disconnected the battery and all seems to be working with the EZ4 ( I had a flashback from 2 years ago where I did something similar and blew the entire com board had to buy that replacement board) I investigated what those 3 ports do and lucky I am not using them for any RGB light array or anything. Not even sure if the port is working or not but there was a burn smell for a second.Could this harm anything else on the controller? Everything seems to still work good, just can't test that i2c port. the digital port where the negative wire was is also still putting out voltage for the LED light I have.

Woops! Been there, done that. It's a good chance that that port is toast but maybe there is protection built into it. DJ or someone else will have to answer that. If you don't ever plan to use that port and everything else is working then no worries. I'm sure if something else was damaged you would know it right away as it would not work or heat up. Is anything getting hot now? In my vast experience of burning or blowing things up I found that usually a short or over voltage will take out a component unless it's protected internally. Use it till you can't. ;-)
