EZ-B Version 2.1 Boards On The Way!

There has been a minor 2.1 update to the EZ-B due to the success of the previous version. The 2.1 update contains minor changes to the traces. There are no differences in functionality between the two minor releases. The EZ-B Version 2.1 to be available the first week of February, so stay tuned!

EZ-B Version 2 - Now Taking Orders!

Thats right, they are ready! Order your EZ-B now! Over half of this batch have been spoken for, so get your move on. A new batch is already in production. Anyone who has contacted DJ should have received an email with this update. The Version 2.0 EZ-B has passed DJs approval and are now being assembled. Shipping will begin February 1st, 2011!

EZ-B Version 1.4 - Discontinued

Master Blaster DIY Robot... Watch Out!

This little plastic chinese 1980s knock-off robot made for a perfect platform. Modified servos were added to the feet. Standard servos were added to the arms and head. The EZ-B was added. Voila! A remote control oldschool robot!

ARC Tutorial Video

A tutorial video that introduces the features of EZ-Builder was put online today. The video demonstrates various hardware being connected to the EZ-B and controlled by the EZ-Builder software. This includes standard servo, modified servo, LEDs, Sharp IR Distance Sensors, HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor, and even a Tamiya Robot.

Modify Servo For Continuous Rotation

HC-SR04 Support Added

The Sharp IR Range Sensor has been a pretty popular litle unit... Until now! The HC-SR04 is a very affordable and accurate little distance sensor. It uses ultrasonic sound waves to determine the distance of an object in front of it. The EZ-SDK and EZ-Builder both have support for the HC-SR04 sensor. Now add accuracy of 1 inch to your robot!

ARC With Color Camera Recognition

You didnt read that wrong... The EZ-Builder software now supports Color Camera Recognition! There is now a control you may add to your project that will use a USB Camera optionally mounted on a servo. No programming required, and your robot can now recognize and follow colored objects!
