I also encountered that message but wasn't quite sure about it since I'm using an EZ-Bv3+ board which came with the Dev Kit.

Note that, I already followed that tutorial from your link (among all others), several times, removing and adding it on Window's Bluetooth devices list. The error log that I get from the Update Firmware Log is this:

This happens every time. The problem is I can't update the firmware because the Update Software wouldn't even make a connection.

In any case, I'll tinker for a few bit and see.

Thanks for helping with my last comment on the boards today. While looking for a resolve for "System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException" error I am receiving on my EZBv3 board during firmware upgrade, I came across this forum page "Ez-b V3 Buy Back Program" Am I eligible to return my EZBv3 for a credit to purchase some goodies on I'd like to upgrade the a newer version of the board if possible.

Yep, your EZ-Bv3 is still eligible for the buy back program just contact Customer Support and let them know that you are sending it back.
While digging through a box I found 2 EZB 3's. This buyback still alive?
