I have started work on my 15th robot project TK . It is 31 inches tall and has a 12 inch diameter base. Weighs 12 pounds with 12v sla battery. Body is constructed from acrylic beverage dispensers painted white, The upper torso rotates with the head and arms. The top of the head is made from a 12 inch tinted security dome cut to size.Head tilts forward and back. The arms each have 3 hd servos with metal bearings.Part of the arms were made from Omnibot arms. The hands are digital servo assemblies. The lower base is made from round storage containers. It has 3 ultrasonic sensors and 1 pir sensor on the front. It is still a work in progress and will post videos upon completion. I think it has both a modern and a retro look to it..Hope you members like it. User-inserted image

TK has got a cool looking face, really great design build. Tall and a good base also.

I really like the look of this. I'll be watching this with interest and look forward to seeing your progress.

Great job so far. :D

Excellent work there. One suggestion, can you post larger pictures?

rb550f, Very nice work, I like individual built robots! That is what it is all about! The ability to build homemade robots with EZ robot and customize available options on others. Looking forward to videos. Steve S ;)

How did you illuminate the blue affect on the bottom of the head?

#6

Blue EL tape connected to an inverter. It is wrapped around the head and goes inside it thru a slit at the back of the dome. Home built robots are my favorites..Thanks for your support.

Would also like to see larger pictures and video:) Would like to see details on how you are making the arm mods and what servos you used.

Love the overall look to the bot...Great job!
