Slipping Roli Tracks

:D I was able to prevent slippage in the rubber tracks by using outdoor electrical insulation tape. It is much thicker than the black electrical tape.
Apply this tape by peeling off the backing and stretching it around the wheel hub. Overlap the ends by about an inch.
Pick it up at your local hardware store. User-inserted image

I used friction tape. Similar concept. Rough cloth tape, sold in the electrical department of hardware stores.

Good idea. If the tracks ever stiffen between use, here's the roli tutorial for softening them: https://synthiam.com/Tutorials/Lesson/74?courseId=3

Not having a Roli myself... but could you roughen up the plastic drive wheel so it grips the rubber tread better?

Well, now that it is out of warranty, I suppose that might be worth a try. The injection molded plastic is pretty slippery.

Maybe if I could get an STL file of the wheel (or even a CAD file) I might be able to add some little "teeth" as it were to the wheel hubs... :)
