Just checking if anyone here is running a Surface Pro 3 and the EZB v4? I've really like the touch screen and small Ipad form, but not sure if if the Os (i think 8.1 ) and the CPU are strong enough to run EZ builder and deliver on the load. Anyone see any drawbacks with using this computer/tablet?

After some research I think I'd upgrade to the Acer W4 0r the Lenovo IdeaTab Miix 2 Tablet. Both have a better display and battery life and CPU. I can get the W4 at Tigerdirect for as little as 132 USD (scratch and dent sale) to 150 USD refurbished. Both are competitive in price to the W3.

Thanks for the help. :)

@fxrtst - some of these smaller tablets are great and make sure it has what you need on it. I bought a couple of the HP Streams at Christmas when they went on sale for $69 and it was the 2GB/64GB Office 365 version. Some have micro USB and some have a full size usb, just write down your needs then pick one that meets it. I have ran EZ builder on my Dell Venue, no problems, then I ran a stand alone EZ-Builder SDK test app on the HP Stream and no problems.

Fxrtst,

If you are going to run your ez-ai database locally, I would go with something stronger than these tablets. If you run your databases off another machine on your network and don't use the auto knowledge gathering piece which uses the nlp, you should be fine.

Thanks for the thoughts. This was for taking my "project" on the road for PR. Was looking for something small and flashy, and the surface pro caught my eye. But one of these small cheaper tablets might do just as well. I still have my Mac Pro that will run the EZ-AI. When I'm at home:)
